I'm supposed to translate these to, y=mx+b, form

a. y-4x=-3

b. 3y-3x=9

c. 3x+2y=12

a. y-4x=-3        add 4x to both sides

    y = 4x - 3

b. 3y-3x=9       divide everything by 3

      y - x  = 3     add x to both sides

      y = (1)x + 3

c. 3x+2y=12      subtract 3x from both sides

   2y  = -3x + 12    divide everything by 2

     y = (-3/2)x + 6

d. 2(x-3)+3y=0      simplify

    2x - 6 + 3y  = 0   add 6 to both sides, subtract 2x from both sides

     3y =  -2x + 6      divide everything by 3

     y  = (-2/3)x + 2

cool cool cool
