Please help.

According to the formula (cos(60)+sin(60)*i)6=cos(360)+sin(360)*i=1+0*i=1

 

so cos(60)+sin(60)*i=1

 

so is cos(50)+sin(50)*i, or every other x.

 

but it doesnt make any sense.....

cos(60)+sin(60)*i=1 Not True!!

 

cos(60)+sin(60)*i=1/2 + (i sqrt(3))/2

cos(50)+sin(50)*i=sin((2 π)/9) + i cos((2 π)/9)

I know it doesnt equal to 1, i already calculated it, thank you.

I believe you didnt open the wiki page because according to the formula it IS 1. i know it isnt, and it obviously doesnt make any sense. my question is where did i go wrong?

I want an explenation.
