x^2+y^2=4x+12y-39

Get it in standard form    (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

x^2-4x             + y^2-12y        = -39      'complete the square '    for   x  and y

x^2 -4x +4      + y^2-12y+36   = -39 + 4 + 36

(x-2)^2      + (y-6)^2 = 1                Now you can see what h and k are    and add them together for your answer.....
