Consider the given functions: \begin{align*} f(x) & = 5x^2 - \frac{1}{x}+ 3\\ g(x) & = x^2-k \end{align*}If $f(2) - g(2) = 2$, what is the value of $k$?

plugging in 2 to the f(x) we get 22.5 to get 2 g(x) must be 20.5, so k must be -16.5
