3y=2x^2-16x+18

y = 2/3 x^2 - 16/3 x + 18/3      vertex is at   x = -b/2a        b = -16/3    a = 2/3

    when you calculate this value of 'x',

            find the 'y' value of the vertex by substituting this value of 'x' into the equation
