On the first one " The function is a reflection of its parent function over the x axis".....I'm not sure why this matters

 

But, anyway

 

We have the form

 

y = Asin (Bx)  + D

 

A = the amplitude = 3

 

B =   2pi / period =  2pi / 4pi   =   1/2

 

D = the shift up = 2

 

So....the function is :

 

y = 3 sin [ (1/2)x] + 2

Second one

 

A =  the amplitude =   difference between highest and lowest position / 2  =  6 / 2   =  3

 

The period is 20 

 

B =   2pi / period  =    2pi / 20  =   pi / 10

 

 

The function is  

 

y = 3 sin ( pi * x / 10  )
