By vertical angles, w=56˚.

Draw a line parallel to each of the vertical lines that passes through the middle vertex.

Then

So y=180-68-56=x.

so w=56

y=x=56

b=68

Your answer is correct IF the vertical lines are parallel.wink

Something's missing here!!!cheeky

The sum of those two (given) angles is 180º, but that does not necessarily mean that the perpendicular lines are parallel!!!

I don't think I can solve this unless I assume the vertical lines ae parallel.....are they stated as being parallel?
