Thanx CoolStuffYT for spotting my error....the following is edited to correct this:

Set the two fxns =

x^2-6x+8 = x-2    re-arrange and simplify

x^2 - 7x +10 = 0    Use Quadratic Formula to find

   x =5 or 2

Now find the y values

x-2

  is  5-2 = 3         First point   (5,3)

x-2   is   2-2  = 0      second point     (2,0)
