An isosceles triangle has a side of length 10 and a side of length 4.  What are all possible perimeters of the triangle?

It is an isosceles triangle so the equal sides must be 10 or 4.

10 + 10 + 4 = 24.

20 > 4.

4 + 4 + 10 = 18.

8 is not > 10 thus it is not a triangle.

The perimeter is 24.
