The equation of a parabola is given. y=3/4x^2−6x+15 What are the coordinates of the vertex of the parabola?

The 'x' coordiante of the parabola will be   - b / 2a   =   - -6/(2*3/4)       use this value in the quadratic to calculate the 'y' coordinate of the vertex.

I don't get it, -6/1 is still -6? or am I missing something here?
