It is an indeterminate form.

You can say, because 0 * a = 0, 0/0 = 0(1/0) = 0.

You can say, because 1/0 = infinity, 0/0 = infinity.

You can say, because a/a = 1, 0/0 = 1.

 

You get different values if you do it differently, so you can't really determine its value. That's why it is indeterminate.

What max is telling you is that it cannot be done.

You cannot divide any number by 0 and get an answer.
