Find the value of B-A if the hraph AX+BY=3 passes through the point (-7, 2), and is parrellel to the graph of x+3y= -5.
Thank you,

x + 3y = -5
In the form Ax + By = C, the slope = -A/B.....so.....
Slope = -1 / 3
A parallel line has the same slope
So....like the other problem
y = (-1/3)(x + 7) + 2
y = (-1/3)x -7/3 + 2
y = (-1/3)x -7/3 + 6/3
y = (-1/3)x - 1/3 mutiply through by -9
-9y = 3x +3
-3x -9y = 3
A= -3 B = -9
B - A = -9 - (-3) = -6
