On a standard six-faced die, the numbers on opposite faces always add to seven. Dena rolls a pair of fair, standard sixfaced dice. She then takes the product of four numbers: the two numbers on the faces that are showing on top of the dice and the two numbers on the faces which are hidden on the bottom of the dice. What is the greatest possible product of these four numbers?

The greatest possible product is when the displayed numbers are:3 and 4. Opposite 3 is 4 and 3 x 4 =12.

Opposite 4 is 3 and 4 x 3 =12. And 12 x 12 = 144 - which is greatest product possible.
