There is a trapezoid on the left side:  A  =  ½·h·(b₁ + b₂)

   h = 4; b₁ = 2; b₂ = 10   --->  place the numbers into the formula and solve.

 

There is a semicircle on the right side:  A  =  ½·pi·r²

   r = 2  --->   place the numbr into the formula and solve.

 

Add the above two answers together to get the total area.
