Let TU and VW be chords of a circle, which intersect at S, as shown. If ST=3,TU=15 , and VW=3, then find SW .

 

I tried using power of a point and I got 18 but it was not correct fsr... .-.

Let SV be  x

 

x (x + 3) = 3 * 18

 

x2 + 3x - 54 = 0       (solve with the quadratic formula)

 

x = 6

 

SW = 9
