A==Apples, O==Oranges,  P==Pears

$10 / 4 ==$2.50 - price of 1 apple

$2.50 * 0.75 ==$1.875 - price of 1 orange

$4.20 / 2 ==$2.10 - price of 1 pear

[$30 / $2.50]  +  [$15 / $1.875]  +  [$8.40 / 2.10] ==

12 apples  +  8 oranges  +  4 pears ==24 - pieces of fruit altogether
