let 1/4y people 1x

2 books  =  3 * 3/5

               =  9/5
5 - 3 = 2
3 books  =  3 * 2/5

              =  6/5

 1x * 1 + 9/5x * 2 = 6/5x * 3 = 4469

            5/5x + 18/5x + 18/5x = 4469

                                    4 1/5x = 4469

                                            x = 545

total no. y people

 = 4x

 = 4 * 545

 = 2180
