The length of the path of point B is equal to 3 X arc AC.

 

Arc AC = {[2(2 / pi)] * pi} / 4 = 1 cm

 

The path of point B = 3 cm

 

Red ink shows the path of point B

I believe  this is correct:

 

The  path length  traveled  by  B  to B'    =   8r =  8 ( 2/pi)    =    16/pi   cm
