zero mutiplied by smthing will give you zero :)

 

So you need to find how can you make a zero:

2(x-3)(x^2+1)=0

 

x-3=0                                                           x^2+1=0

x=3                                                               x^2=-1

                                           since square CAN NOT be negative so that one is WRONG

                                                 

 

Answer: x=3
