The ratio of apples to orange is = 4/6=2/3 "For every 2 apples, there are 3 oranges)

for every apple there are 1.5 orange

so the ratio of apples to oranges is 1 to 1.5

apples are what percent of the total number of fruits?

Well 6 oranges and 4 apples = 10

apples are 4

so

4/10=0.4

0.4*100=40%
