Sarah took the advertising department from her company on a round trip to meet with a potential client. Including Sarah a total of 11 people took the trip. She was able to purchase coach tickets for $170 and first class tickets for $1120. She used her total budget for airfare for the trip, which was $5670. How many first class tickets did she buy? How many coach tickets did she buy?

Let the number of coach tickets =C

Then  the number of 1st class tickets =11 -  C

$170C + $1,120{11 - C) = $5,670

$170C + $12,320 - $1,120C =$5,670

-$950C = -$6,650

C = - $6,650 / -$950

C = 7 - Coach tickets that Sarah bought.

11 - 7 = 4 - First class tickets she bought.
