 2x-5(4/3x-2)-4(x+y) distribute 4 and 5 over brackets.

2x - 20/3x - 10 - 4x - 4y

Simplify the following:
2 x - (20 x)/3 - 10 - 4 x - 4 y

Put each term in 2 x - (20 x)/3 - 10 - 4 x - 4 y over the common denominator 3: 2 x - (20 x)/3 - 10 - 4 x - 4 y = (6 x)/3 - (20 x)/3 - 30/3 - (12 x)/3 - (12 y)/3:
(6 x)/3 - (20 x)/3 - 30/3 - (12 x)/3 - (12 y)/3

(6 x)/3 - (20 x)/3 - 30/3 - (12 x)/3 - (12 y)/3 = (6 x - 20 x - 30 - 12 x - 12 y)/3:
(6 x - 20 x - 30 - 12 x - 12 y)/3

Grouping like terms, 6 x - 20 x - 30 - 12 x - 12 y = -12 y + (6 x - 20 x - 12 x) - 30:
(-12 y + (6 x - 20 x - 12 x) - 30)/3

6 x - 20 x - 12 x = -26 x:
(-12 y + -26 x - 30)/3

Factor 2 out of -12 y - 26 x - 30:
2/3 (-6y - 13x - 15)
