The normal body temperature of a camel is 37°C. This temperature varies by up to 3°C throughout the day. Write and solve an absolute value inequality that represents the range of normal body temperatures (in degrees Celsius) of a camel throughout the day.
Easy peasey.
|x| + 3 < 37
This is definetly the right answer, even though it seems to go only one way. When solving, you first get rid of the absolute value bars, and make 2 different equations, one with -37 and one with positive 37. When you turn 37 into a negative integer, make sure to flip the inequality sign. (x) will still turn out positive either way because it is in the absolute value bars, just check the solutions.
