A regular hexagon has a perimeter of $p$ (in length units) and an area of $A$ (in square units). If $A = 3,$ then find the side length of the hexagon.

Area of a hexagon =  6* (1/2) s^2* sqrt (3)/2      where s is  the side length

So

3 = 6 * (1/2) * s^2 * sqrt (3) / 2

3 = 3*  s^2 * sqrt (3) / 2

s^2 = 2/sqrt (3)

s = sqrt [ 2 / sqrt 3] ≈ 1.075
