suppose you know that x=2 is a root of equation x^3-2-2^2-x+2=0.use that fact to factor x^3-2-2^2-x+2 to find the other roots of the equation.then associate polynomial function

I believe this is supposed to be :

x^3 - 2x^2 - x + 2 = 0     if so....factor by grouping

x^2(x - 2)  - 1 ( x - 2)  = 0      take out  common factor (x - 2)

(x - 2) (x^2 - 1)  = 0        factor (x^2 - 1  )

(x - 2) (x + 1) (x - 1)  = 0    set each factor to 0 and the roots are  2, -1 and 1

cool cool cool
