There isn't anything particularly tricky about this.........
(x^2 + ax + b) *
(cx^2 - 2x + 1)
cx^4 + acx^3 + bcx^2
- 2x^3 - 2ax^2 - 2bx
+ x^2 + ax + b
cx^4 + ( ac -2)x^3 + (bc - 2a + 1)x^2 - (2 - a)x + b
