The polynomial f(x)  has degree 3. If f(0) = 4, f(1)= -2 , f(3) = 0, and  f(3) = 28, then what are the x -intercepts of the graph of f(x)?

A 3rd degree polynomial has the  form      ax^3  + bx^2 + cx + d

We can solve the equations to get a = 1, b = -8, c = 10, and d = 2.  So the x-intercepts are x = -2, 3, and 5.
