Suppose f(z) and g(z) are polynomials in z , and the degree of g(z) is less than the degree of f(z). If the degree of f(z) is 3, what is the largest possible degree of f(z)*g(z)?

For simplicity  say      f(z) = z^3

                                   g(z) = z^2

z^3  *  z^2 =  z(3+2)  = z5          5 is the largest possible degree for integer exponents
