If f(x) = 2x^8 - x^4 + x^2 - 3, and g(x) is a poynomial such that the degree of f(x) + g(x) is 3, then what is the degree of g(x)?

in order for the degree to be 3, g has to cancel out the 2x^8, by having -2x^8, meaning that the highest degree is 8. :)))
