Find g(x), with terms in order of decreasing degree, if we have that 8x^4 - 7x^2 + 8x - 7 + g(x) = x^6 - x^3 - 2x^2 + 1.

You have to move \(8x^4 - 7x^2 + 8x - 7 \) to the right side so it becomes \(g(x) = (x^6 - x^3 - 2x^2 + 1) - (8x^4 - 7x^2 + 8x - 7)\)

Simplify

Therefore, your answer would be

\(g(x)=x^6-8x^4-x^3+5x^2-8x+8\)
