how to solve for p1 120,000=p1^0.05(10)

p1^.5=120,000, we take the log 120,000

.5p1   =5.079181, we divide both sides by .5

p1=10.158362 this is the antilog, and we raise it to the base 10

p1=10^10.158362=14,400,000,000 approx.=1.44 X 10^10

120,000=p1^0.05(10)   simplify

120,000 = p1^(.5)  = p1^(1/2)   = sqrt(p1)

120,000 = sqrt(p1)        square both sides

14,400,000,000    = p1

cool cool cool
