Hello, all!

In my Pre-Calculus class, we are solving some problems, which I'm afraid I am struggling with. I am interted in learning the processes of how to solve these problems. Thank you in advance for all of your assistance.

1) Simplify: (x2y-3)/(2-y-3)

2) Solve for x: 2(nx+bn+bx)

Thank you for all help in advance.

 (x^2y-3)/[2-y^(-3) ] =

(x^2y-3)/( 2 -  1 / y^3 )  =

( x^2y - 3) / [  (2y^3 - 1) /  y^3) ]

[ y^3 (x^2y - 3) ] / {2y^3 - 1)

[ x^2y^4 - 3y^3 ] / [ 2y^3 -1 ]

We can't solve the second one for anything because we have to have an equation for that
