A jar contains 4 red b***s, 3 green b***s, and 5 blue b***s. One ball is taken from the jar and is not replaced. Another ball is taken from the jar. What is the probability that the first ball is green and the second ball is red?

Initially there are 12 ball in the jar, so probability if choosing a green one is 3/12

Then there are 11 ball left in the jar so the probability of choosing a red one is 4/11

Overall the probability of choosing first green then red is the product of these two: (3/12)*(4/11) = 1/11
