When I visit a local cafe, there's an 80% probability that I'll order a sandwich and a 70% probability that I'll order a soup. If there's a 5% probability that I don't order the sandwich or soup, then what's the probability that I order both the sandwich and soup?

I would think its 56% (70% * 80%) but that doesn't make use of the information that there's a 5% probability that I don't order a sandwich or soup....

I'll try:

THere is a 95% chance that you DO order a sandwich or soup

.95 x .8 x .7 = 53.2 %      (I usually get probability questions incorrect !)
