In a video game, each rocket has an \(60\%\) chance of hitting a target. Three rockets are now fired at a target. What is the probability that exactly two of the rockets will hit the target? Express your answer as a decimal to the nearest thousandth.

hit x hit x miss  =  .60 x .60 x .40  =  .144

hit x miss x hit  =  .60 x .40 x .60  =  .144

miss x hit x hit  =  .40 x .60 x .60  =  .144

Adding these together:                     .432
