Help, I am stuck on this problem:

 

The following cards are dealt to three people at random, so that everyone gets the same number of cards. What is the probability that everyone gets a red card?  There are three red cards and three blue cards.

It equals 1  minus the probability that one person gets 2 red cards.

 

The probability that the first person draws 2 red cards is:

 

3/6 * 2/5 ==1 / 5

 

The same applies to the 2nd person

And the same applies to the 3rd person.

 

So, the probability that each person gets a red card is:

 

1  -  (3 *  1/5) = 2 / 5
