A long year-end status report for work is 126 pages long. You need to print 12 copies for a meeting next week. How much is the paper going to cost for those reports? Paper is sold in reams (500 pages) for $3.97 each.

$3.97 / 500 =~0.00794 cents per page.

126 x 12 =1,512 page in all 12 copies of the report.

1,512 x 0.00794 =~$12 - the cost of the paper in all copies.

12 copies x 126 pages = 1512 pages

will require 4 reams of paper $ 3.97 x 4 =$15.88 (you will have 488 pieces of paper left over)

Times 3 would only be 1500 pages.....you need 1512, so you will have to buy a 4th ream of paper, though you only need 12 more pages from it....
