Problem

If you roll a fair six-sided die and a fair four-sided die, what is the probability that neither die shows a 1?

Hmmmmm..... I'm a little confused as to how a 'four sided' die shows ANYthing.   Isn't it basically of a triangular pyramid shape?

The probability of not getting a 1 on a cube is  5/6.

The probability of not getting a  1  on a tetrahedron is  3/4.

The probability of not getting a  1  on either of them is:  (5/6) · (1/4)

Still have a problem with the tetrahedron......when it is rolled it lands on one face...the other three faces are equally showing....wouldn't the probability of NOT showing a '1' then be 3/4 ?
