A train travels at 72 miles per hour. Will the of the train's rate of speed show that the relationship between the number of miles traveled and the number of hours is a proportional relationship? Explain.

Yes I believe it will.
miles ∝ hours
miles = k hours
where k = 1/72
1miles = 1/72 hours

This is a direct relationship.
Is this a good enough explanation?

Someone else might add something.

Melody.
