two trucks with equal mass are attracted to each other with a gravitational force of 6.7 * 10 -4 N. the trucks are seperated by a distance 0f 3.0 m. What is the mass of one of the trucks?

F=(G.2M)/d^2

6.7e-4=[6.67428e-11 x M^2]/9

Solve for M:
0.00067 = 7.41587×10^-12 M^2

0.00067 = 7.41587×10^-12 M^2 is equivalent to 7.41587×10^-12 M^2 = 0.00067:
7.41587×10^-12 M^2 = 0.00067

Divide both sides by 7.41587×10^-12:
M^2 = 9.03468×10^7

Take the square root of both sides:
Answer: |  M = 9505.09 Kg=9.505 Metric tonnes

CORRECTION:

F=(G.2M)/d^2 SHOULD BE:F=(G.M^2)/d^2. THE RESULT OF THE CALCULATION IS ACCURATE.
