ARRGG. Please help me with this quadratic equation and explain the process...here is what I have so far...
x2 + -14x + 45 = 0
formula x=-b+√b^2-4ac/2a
-(-14)+√-14^2-4(1)(45)
14+√196-180/2
14+√16/2???
I know the answer is 5,9 but how???
I am lost from here..I really need to learn this down pat and I am confused with the examples in my book...pls help with explanation. THX in advance☺
