Point A is (3,6), and B is (-1,3). Point C is 6 units from line AB and is on the x-axis. Find point C. I'm not sure how to even get started. Any tips would be extremely helpful! :) Thank you very much!

Have you done that?
Also, when someone talks about the distance of a point to a line they are referring to the perpendicular distance.
