The volume of a rectangular prism is 115 cm3. If the length is doubled, the width is tripled, and the height is cut in half, what is the volume of the new prism?
Guest: d - length x2, width x3, height /2 -> (2x3)/2=3
115x3=345
This is a good answer guest. Thank you.
I really hope that your don't mind but I am going to tweak it a little.
original voume
L * W * H = 115 cm3
new volume
Lx2 * W x3 * H /2 = > L * W * H * 2 * 3 * 1/2 => 115 x 3 => 345cm
3 NEVER NEVER FORGET THE UNITS!
