How is 4^0 1?
Math Rule: ANY number raised to the '0' power is 1
In order to understand this better, use the power rules:
take 4^3 and divide it by 4^3
This is because of the power rules 4^(3-3) = 4^0
4^3 and 4^3 are obviously the same, so 4^3/4^3 = 1, therefore 4^0 = 1
CLARIFICATION: Any POSITIVE number raised to the '0' power is 1
Any NEGATIVE number raised the '0' power is -1
