The pressure of gas p(v) varies inversely with the volume of the gas v. The pressure of a gas measures 25 kg/cm^2 when it's volume is 200cm^3.

Which equation can be used to find the pressure of the gas when the volume is changed?

Options:

p(v)=8/v

p(v)=8v

p(v)=5000/v

p(v)=5000v

We have

p = k /V      and we know that

25 =  k / 200     multiply both sides by 200

5000 =  k

So.....the general equation becomes

p(V) = 5000 / V
