Solve for n:

5x - 10y = 50

nx + 10y = 6

CAN YOU DO IT????

You can use a system for this, not sure if you need a whole number or not for your answer.

use elimination ;)

5x -10 y = 50

nx + 10 y = 6

Using elimination I will get rid of y and solve for x.

     5x  - 10y = 50

 +  nx + 10y = 6

   (5x- nx) + 0  = 56

5x - nx = 56

x(5-n) = 56

5 - n = 56/ x

n = 5 - 56/x

n = (5x- 56)/x

Do you want x and y also?

n = (3 - 5 y)/(y + 5), and x = 2 (y + 5),  and y + 5 must not =0
