Let \(f(x)= x^2-x-6\). Find the range of \(f\).
The hint to the question was to complete the square, I completed the square and got (x-1/2)^2-25/4. Now I don't know what to do.
The range is the set of possible y-values.
When graphed, this is a parabola with vertex (1/2, -25/4) rising upward from the vertex.
So, the possible y-values are y >= -25/4.
