Abdullah Raza is an Ontario contractor who purchased a new pickup truck for his home renovations business. The truck cost $49848.00 (not including the Ontario HST). Jason Whitedeer, a park ranger in Yukon Territory, purchased the same model truck which costs $54299.00 (including the GST). Jenny Sawchuk, a firefighter from Saskatchewan, also purchased the same model truck that was originally listed at $53299.00 (before taxes), but she was given a 2.5% promotional rebate that was discounted before the GST/PST was applied. Which truck was the most expensive before taxes and which truck was the most expensive after the taxes.
