Given: Parallelogram ABCD is a rhombus. Side BC = 5 cm and segment AO = 3.9 cm.

1. What is the area of ABCD?

4 * (3.9cm) * (3.129cm) / 2

2 * (3.9cm) * (3.129cm)

= 24.4cm^2

2. What is the length of diagonal BD?

BD = 0B + 0D = 3.129cm + 3.129cm

=6.26cm

3. What is the measure of angle d1°?

4. What is the tangent ratio of angle c2 ?

The diagonals of a rhombus intersect at right angles

So....the tangent ratio of c1 is

OD / OC   =  sqrt ( 5^2 - 3.9^2) / 3.9   =  sqrt (9.79) / 3.9

d1 can be found thusly

tan d1   = 3.9 / sqrt (9.79)        take the arctan

artan [ 3.9 / sqrt (9.79) ] = d1 ≈ 51.26°
