So I have calculated Sin(70°) = Opp / 30.816, in this equation Opp = 28.95757
BUT when I do Sin(X) = 28.95757 / 30.816 I result in 1.08422336464 when converted to degrees gives me 62.12° NOT 70°
If I put Opp (a) (28.95757) and Hypopenuse of (30.816) into the following calulator it says 70° should be the resulting angle A.

What am I doing wrong?
So we have...
Sin(X) = 28.95757 / 30.816
Using the sine inverse...( and making sure that we're in degree mode)
sin-1( 28.95757 / 30.816) = about 70 degrees
Try this again and see if you don't get the same result.....
I need my math to be accurate to 3 decimal places. This is off by more than 7 degrees.
In radians
sin-1(28.95757/30.816) = 1.221730684928 NOT 1.08422336464 !!!
Convert 1.221730684928 to degrees...it should be about 70 degrees
Try it in the calulator on this very site, sinh(28.95757/30.816) = 1.084223469941
